In Kathmandu, we will stay in a luxurious three-star hotel, and during the trek, we also have some pretty good guests to stay with. Even in such a remote landscape, you will find a room with great facilities. They will have good mattresses and blankets, so you do not need to carry your sleeping bag. You can also get charging pods and a hot shower in the room. Furthermore, you can also have a good Wi-Fi connection and a tower on your cell phone during the trek, giving you the best view of Everest. These are not the facilities you can expect in the mountains if you trek to a higher altitude.

Electricity, Battery Recharge & Water During the Trek

Almost all the tea houses situated along the trekking route provide electricity options to charge the devices. However, it is safer to have a power bank as a backup. You will need to pay extra for the electricity and charging facilities.

Water has to be bought or made to get purified using tablets or filters. Drinking more water during the ride is very important, mainly if the area is higher.

Remember that a water bottle costs 2 to 3 dollars at a higher altitude, and you can save that money with water-purifying tablets. Also, it would help if you carried your water bottle for the mountain environment.

There are several options for trekkers who wish to experience another journey: they can go on the Gokyo Lakes Trek or view the magnificent Himalayas while on the Everest Base Camp trek. While these routes may be visually more complicated, they provide vantage points that are different from the usual perspectives of the region.
