Nabaraj Sidgel

Nabaraj Sigdel was born and raised in Tarakeshwor, Nuwakot district. Like every guide and porter, Nabaraj also started working from an early age, at 17. At that age, he started working as a porter. After working for 2 years and gaining experience in the trekking industry for two years, he started working as a licensed guide.

It’s been more than a decade since he started working as a guide, and he has achieved a lot in this industry. Nabaraj has trekked to some of the iconic treks, such as the Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek, Langtang Valley Trek, Kanchenjunga Trek, Nar Phu Valley Trek, Upper Mustang, and many more.

Apart from trekking to Nepal, Nabaraj has also been to some of the South Eastern Asian countries. Nabaraj says that he loves every aspect of Nepal. What he loves the most about trekking and his job is the freedom to travel and explore the parts and regions of Nepal. He loves to explore the culture and traditions of the local people and get friendly with the people visiting the country.
