For the rest of the trip, 581km, we will be travelling on a local bus and private shared jeep, or you can book a private vehicle from Kathmandu itself. We will be travelling 206km from Kathmandu to Jagat on the local bus (Kathmandu to Besisahar) and a shared private jeep (Besisahar to Jagat) on the first day of our trek. Then, the actual trek begins from Jagat to Muktinath for several days, covering a total of 96km.

Furthermore, a private jeep from Muktinath will take you to Tatopani, 71km away. We will then continue towards Pokhara, which is 103km far from Tatopani. Finally, after a 201km drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, our ABC Annapurna Base Camp trek map will come to an end.

Our Annapurna Base Camp Trek journey starts from Kathmandu and ends at Pokhara. However, our trekking only starts from Naya Pul on the second day of our trekking itinerary. Firstly, we will cover a 201km stretch from Kathmandu to Pokhara on a local bus and stay overnight there. Then, a private vehicle will assist us to Naya Pul, which is a 40.7km drive. From Naya Pul, our challenging trek up to Jhinudanda begins, covering 91.2km. On the 6th day only, we will reach the ABC. From there, we will trek to Jhinudanda and finally drive back to Pokhara (27.3km drive).

Hence, our total trekking distance is 91.2km, and our driving distance is 269km, which makes a total Annapurna Base Camp Trek distance 360.2km.

Ghandruk to Annapurna Base Camp Distance

Day 1: Trek from Ghandruk to Sinuwa

Day 2: Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali

Today, we will be covering 12-14km. After enjoying a delicious breakfast and a refreshing morning view, we set out to Bamboo. After an hour’s hike, we will reach Bamboo, which is about 2.5km away from Sinuwa. With a tummy-full lunch at Bamboo, we will continue for another hour (approximately 2.5km) to Dovan (a popular shopping market for trekkers). From Dovan, we will walk for 2 hours, covering 3-4km before reaching the Himalayas, and finally, to Deurali after a 1.5-hour trek, covering 3.5km.

Day 3: Trek from Deurali to ABC Today, we are going to claim ABC. We begin our trek from Deurali to MBC (Machhapuchhre Base Camp), which will take about 2.5 hours and cover 4km. From MBC, we will have another 2-2.5 hours walk, covering approximately 5km, to reach ABC (Annapurna Base Camp).
