Additional Cost

Chisapani Weather

The weather of Chisapani is mild and clear in autumn and spring, with temperatures ranging around 15-20°C during the day. Meanwhile, the winter could be cooler, with temperatures dropping to about 5°C. But the summer could be a little warmer, with occasional rain.

Nagarkot Weather

Although Nagarkot lies in almost similar elevation, or a little lower, it is cooler than Chisapani, especially in winter. Normally, the temperature during spring and autumn is pleasing, with temperatures around 20°C.

During winter, the temperature might fall as low as 2°C. Meanwhile, the summer/monsoon season is a little warmer. However, due to humidity and frequent rain, it is still cooler.

The only permit you will need to hike Chisapani Nagarkot is the Shivapuri National Park, as you will be trekking within the national park.

The cost for the permit is NPR 1000 per person for foreign nationalities, NPR 600 per person for SAARC nationals, and NPR 100 per person for Nepalese.

The most exciting thing you can do is view the sunrise and sunset from the Nagarkot View Tower. Other than that, exploring local villages and diverse flora and fauna is an exciting thing to do around here.
