The cheapest way is to use a local bus to travel to Nagarkot from Kathmandu.

The bus fare for Nagarkot is around NPR 100. To catch a bus to Nagarkot, first, you need to visit the Bhaktapur bus stop in Kathmandu, just east of Ratnapark, and then take a bus to Kamalbinayak.
